LOTV 63 - sketch

Aside from my camera frustrations, I had an exciting weekend - I decided to invest in some pro markers. I bought some from Hobbycraft, and some from the southern stamp show in Worthing (from Stamposaurus - a deal at £6.00/pack).
So, here here is my first card using the promarkers. Since this card, I have also purchased a blender so I am on a steep learning curve and watch this space as my technique develops.

The flowers are made from a woodware punch, using velvet paper. I scrunched up the flowers to give them some shape, and as I didn't have enough gold sparkly bits to make the centre of the flower, I added glue to a flower brad(blue) and dipped it inot some glitter. Hey presto, a good enough bit of sparkle to match the OTT gold fur around the hood of the girl. All other pits are from my stash - including the sentiment from craftwork cards.

  1. This is gorgeous, Kate. Love the flowers and your brad idea. I'm new to Promarkers too, I got mine from Joanna Sheen which were the cheapest ones I found, but yours sound a real bargain! They seem to be taking a bit of getting used to for me, but I think the blender one is great.
