BasicGrey Challenge 29 - Not a stamp in sight!

I have shown considerable restraint today - I went to a craft show and spent less than £15 on papercraft material - unheard of! Admittedly, I am holding out for the Stamp and Scrapbook show at Ally Pally next week, and the focus of todays trips was on purchasing jewellery material to make gifts for Christmas.

So, after a day of holding back I have gone to town on this fortnights BasicGrey challenge sketch.

I have stepped away from the Scarlets Letter pad, and dug out a Wassail collection pack. I am sure there was a collection at some point - now there are only a few sheets and some offcuts, but nether the less - enough to create the above.

The card is made entirely out of Wassail paper, and I have not used any stamps. The bird is form the cardstock sticker pack, as is the 'noel'. After following the sketch the finishing touch was a bit of gold glitter - Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without a bit of sparkle!

  1. Gorgeous card Kate, great use of your remaining Wassail papers. Beautiful bird and I love your glittered Noel.
So glad you could join us at Basic Grey.
